MIDDLESPOON's second single HouseWife shines a light on the misogynistic nature of modern pop music by taking things to their extreme. "A good woman knows her place" sings frontman, Alexander Beats, amidst a slew of other gender roles, all of which meant to poke at the patriarchal content on the radio waves.
HouseWife is a smooth, upbeat elelctro-RnB song. It showcases high falsetto, and is reminiscent of artists like Jamiroquai, Anderson Paak, and Chromeo. It is the second single from the band's forthcoming album, out February 2018 on Banana Pop Records.
